MORE CONNECTIONS

If approved, the proposition would adjust 12 routes to add more connections to regional light rail and other Pierce Transit routes.

Transfers That Bring You Closer

Easier transfers means more direct trips.

Improved Transfers

  • Eight local routes — 2, 41, 42, 63, 400, 402, 500 and 501
Improved connections to Sound Transit light rail in Tacoma, Fife and Federal Way.
  • A new 6th Avenue route
A new route would run along 6th Avenue every 15 minutes, connecting TCC and Commerce Street Station.
  • Route 1
Would be upgraded to Stream, running every 15–20 minutes, serving Spanaway Transit Center to Commerce Street Station.
  • A simpler ride:
Routes 52 and 55 would be combined into a single, more efficient one-seat ride between Fircrest and Parkland. This means one route to learn instead of two.
