More Affordable Ways To Stay Independent
65 and Older? Ride Free.

Every senior rides the bus at no cost — no fare, no barrier.
Seniors 65 and older who qualify for SHUTTLE paratransit would also ride fare-free.
Reduced fares remain available for riders with lower incomes (ORCA LIFT) and riders with disabilities.
Youth 18 and younger continue to ride free, even if future state funding for the program is reduced or ends.
Expanded paratransit
Expanded coverage and later hours.

Current SHUTTLE Buffer
Expanded SHUTTLE Buffer
SHUTTLE is available within ¾ of a mile of every local bus route, so as new routes are added and routes expand, that coverage expands with them. This means later hours that match the extended bus schedules, and the ability to serve more eligible customers with disabilities.
Later Service for Diverse Schedules
Life doesn’t run on 9 – 5. Neither should transit.
